Turfcom has developed a seed drill from 30 years of experience in lawn sowing to enable an accurate application rate and precise placement of the seed in the soil for optimum germination. Lawn seed of the best quality is now a major cost factor in turfgrass production. The Turfcom S-300, will reduce seed wastage and thus reduce cost per acre whilst providing a very even plant distribution, and avoiding the formation of seedling rows. The occupation of unwanted grasses by open spots is therefore reduced. Seed rates can be reduced by up to 30 percent from recommended rates.
The Turfcom S-300 pays for itself within a short time due to those savings.

Conventional seed drills often have inaccurate, mechanical metering- and discharge units, which inevitably results in inaccurate application rates. The electronically controlled and proven Turfcom Seed-Drive System is easy to use and highly precise. The pneumatic distribution feeds into a unique wind protection seed-shoot.
The Turfcom Sowing System (TSS) is completely new, self-cleaning and places the seed exactly where it needs to be for best germination results. It leaves less seed on the surface where it would not germinate (unlike conventional seed drills). As a result the application rates can be significantly reduced.
